昨天写了万豪在三月份的等级调整，届时一同生效的其实还有Cat 8这个新的兑换级别。万豪和喜达屋合并之初，所有酒店被划分入了八个等级，为了安抚民心最高级的Cat 8暂时被冻结，所有酒店最多仅需Cat 7的积分数量就可兑换。
但丑媳妇总得见公婆，3月5日Cat 8将正式引入系统，届时有以下六十六家酒店晋升入这一级别（完整的酒店等级名单可参考这里）：

目前以上酒店均只要六万分就可以兑换，3月5日之后标准兑换将升级至八万五千分，而由于淡旺季机制的引入，旺季兑换将需要高达十万分。所以也就不用我多费唇舌了，大家都应该知道有需求的话3月5日之前赶紧订。
这里也稍稍总结一些其中最为热门的酒店，给大家提供一些参考：
纽约瑞吉，最低的含税价格基本也在一千美元上下。不过感觉这家酒店的品质和这个价格并不是很符合，网上看到的一些评论都并没有给它很高的赞誉。和美国的众多黑心酒店一样，积分兑换仍然要支付每天五十美元的所谓Destination Fee，但相对还算比较厚道，包括五十美元的餐饮、五十美元的洗衣和博物馆门票等等。
虽然配不上挂牌价，但讲道理六万分在纽约住这个档次的酒店还是没什么可说的，毕竟除了Melia以外，曼哈顿岛上的酒店积分兑换都很贵。
京都丽思卡尔顿酒店，全城最好的酒店，房价和纽约瑞吉差相仿佛，但是声誉和品质要远远超出。具体酒店怎么样我没住过也就不评价了，但是网上的各种评价都是说服务无可挑剔（入住时跪式服务），在TripAdvisor上排名第一是有道理的。只是会员待遇方面似乎不是特别厚道，房型升级甚至延迟退房都比较吝啬，不过白金会员赠送双份早餐。

马尔代夫和大溪地这两个地方自然是不少人眼馋的地方，而两家瑞吉在各自的地盘也算是最顶级的酒店之一。酒店的质量自然毋庸置疑，只是虽然积分价格便宜，其它的消费却仍然省不了，以马代瑞吉为例，上岛必须的水飞每人就要七百美元，而餐饮（白金送早餐）人均每日也要两三百美元，所以经济实力不够的话，专程跑这么一趟还说不准是谁占了谁的便宜。
Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa, Dubai
同样是度假村，迪拜附近的这家豪华精选更加令人心动，因为酒店承包了一日三餐，每天还有两个免费的沙漠游玩活动，你要做的只是从迪拜打车或者开车到酒店，然后就不用掏钱了。因为性价比超然，万豪方面一度更改规则取消了积分兑换的餐饮和游玩活动，然后TripAdvisor上飚出了茫茫多的一星评价，吓的酒店赶紧又改回来了。酒店貌似几乎不提供升房和延迟退房等服务，但就算是基础房型也有七十五平米，还自带私人浴池，足够用了。
由于万豪的“兑五付四”政策，以上酒店如果连住五晚的话仅需二十四万分兑换，相当于一晚不到五万分，更加超值。只是其中部分酒店（如大溪地和马代）有比较苛刻的取消政策，预订的时候建议确认好了，不然到时候无法成行还不能免费取消就惨了。
