Jumeirah One double tier points & complimentary night enrolment offer
Jumeirah is a hotel group bases in the UAE. Maybe you haven’t heard of its name, but you must have seen their iconic “sailboat” hotel in Dubai: Burj Al Arab:

They also have a loyalty programme named Jumeirah One, which honestly isn’t super exciting. However, if you intend to book any Jumeirah hotels in the next month there’s a promotion worth noting:
- Booking dates: 1 November – 15 December
- Stay by: 30 September 2021
- All stays earn double tier points
You usually earn two tier points for each US dollar spent. With this offer you need an expense of $1,250 to reach Silver (5,000 points), which still isn’t cheap. However Silver tier comes with welcome amenity, free breakfast for two and 2pm late check-out.
Jumeirah One also has a long-running enrolment offer. New members earn a “complimentary one-night voucher” after the first eligible stay. It sounds very generous until you read the terms——
You must book a minimum three consecutive nights (or four nights at resort hotels) to use the voucher, at best flexible rate. So it’s not really a complimentary night, but more of a “Buy two get one free” discount voucher.
Anyway, the voucher may still save you some money if you stay at Jumeirah a fair bit. It’s valid for six months from the date of issue.
GHA membership and offers extension
Earlier this year GHA (quietly) extended all elite members’ status through 2020. It appears that they’ve done it again – when logging into my account I see that my Black status is now valid till the end of 2021:
This is good news, and I expect an official announcement to follow soon.

To sign up visit this page. You earn 5000 bonus points for each stay at Conrad or Waldorf Astoria hotels, as long as it meets the two-night minimum requirement.
I’ve successfully registered to it and also the other “5000 bonus points for two stays” offer. Stackable with the current double points promotion, it’s great news for those who can travel…
Another Hilton bonus points offer (25K points)
We wrote about three resurrected Hilton targeted bonus points offers a few days ago. A reader failed all three registrations but reported to have received a different version.
The landing page of the other offer is here. Stay at least four nights within 90 days and a bonus of 25,000 points will be deposited to your account. Again it’s a targeted offer and considering how rewarding it is, I don’t think many people will qualify.
It’s sad that UK and Europe are going into another lockdown, and I doubt many people will have a chance to use these offers at all.
Hilton targeted promotions: Up to 10K bonus points after two stays
Hilton ran a campaign of targeted promotions last year. There were different versions of it but anyhow you’d get a bonus after two stays. It looks like the offers are reincarnated into a new life form this year!
There are three different offers:
- Stay twice, get 10,000 bonus points
- Stay twice, get 7,500 bonus points
- Stay twice, get 5,000 bonus points
I’d recommend signing up from top to bottom, in case you can only register to one of them. I only qualify for the last one:

Note that the fine print stills say December 31, 2019, but there are reports of successfully getting the bonus already so it should work. Good luck!
IHG Ambassador free night enrolment offer extended, Creation 5,000 bonus points
We wrote about the very impressive Ambassador enrolment offer back in July, and this offer has just been extended.
As you can see in the programme’s terms and conditions, the offer’s deadline is now 31 December, as opposed to the original date of 15 November.
This is great news to some – if you are an existing Ambassador member, it’s only possible to renew within two months of the expiry date. It means, if your membership is set to expire in February 2021, you will be able to benefit from this offer now. Unfortunately mine ends September next year so they need to extend much further!
As I’ve mentioned in the intro, IHG Ambassador is great programme and it’s sensible to join even if you are staying at an InterContinental hotel just once. With this free night offer on top, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase or renew my membership.
On a separate note but still IHG related – many UK Creation IHG card holders have received an email today – between 1 November and 15 December, you’ll be awarded 5,000 bonus points on your first stay at any IHG hotel globally. You need to pay with your Creation IHG credit card (whether Premium or not).
It’s a decent bonus points offer, and doesn’t appear to be targeted.
€20 rebate on Accor stays via their Super Points promotion
Amongst all hotel groups Accor isn’t the most keen or creative in terms of publishing bonus points offers. They have just launched a very good offer though for your stays in the UK and Europe.
You need to register here. Like always the t&s is unclear and somewhat conflictual, but I believe the offer is:
- Book by 16 November
- Stay by 13 December
- Valid for select countries in Europe and Central Asia
- You earn 1000 bonus points if your stay includes a Fri, Sat and Sun night, or 500 bonus points otherwise
- It’s triggered on your first five eligible stays
Full list of participating countries is: Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia , Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Réunion, Saint Martin and French Guyana.
There’s no minimum-stay requirement, therefore you could stay just one night at a cheap Ibis hotel and bag 1000 points which is worth €20.
Note the usual gotchas though: only new bookings after registration count, and don’t part-pay you booking using points!
Marriott has extended its two promotions
The current Marriott’s global promotion, where you earn 2,500 points for each paid stay, has just been extended from 18 October to 10 November. So in theory you could earn 57,500 more points!
There’s an additional 5,000 points after the third stay. However no one has got it yet, so presumably it will be deposited when the promotion is over. If you haven’t registered yet, the link is here.
Besides this, there’s another amazing Marriott offer for some UK Amex Platinum cardholders – Spend £400, Get £400 back at select Marriott hotels in the UK and Europe.

The deadline was set to 23 November at the beginning, which was very short as you’d have only a bit more than a month to use it. It’s been extended to 19 December now, which is good. However I’m not sure how relaxed travel restrictions will be in two month’s time.
